friend of family off sick from work.for few months she is really worried about been able to offord xmas presants
i have suggested she makes home baking as presant in tin then decorated with ribbon
i have given home made xmas mince pies to family as xmas presant
not sure if friends etc would like homebaking as xmas presants
my gran and i are also thinking about giving home baking as presants two byt some people would prefer xmas but due to lack of money and xmas been so.expensive

I'm not sure I'd want baking but something like home made truffles would be nice and keep a bit longer.

Or fudge,toffee good idea. Home made lavender bags great idea . A home made book mark or jazz up a cactus with shimmering  stones.

i have just planted lavander seeds so could do that next year

A couple of years ago I heard about someone on the radio who was low on funds due to being out of work. They made up and printed off vouchers on the computer for things like mowing the lawn, cleaning the house, trimming hedges, ironing, decorating, sewing all the jobs people don't necessarily want to do or don't have the skills to do. They gave them out as presents the person then submitted the voucher when they wanted the person to do the task.

I baked a Christmas cake for my boss last year, him and his wife both have Celiac disease so cant have any wheat/gluten. So they either have to make one or try to find one in a shop, Tesco do one but its tiny so I decided to bake them a massive one. it was dinner plate sized and had an icing holly wreath and bow on the top.
They liked it.

I make sloe gin and handmade chocolates, buy pretty boxes and bags and give those occasionally.

my late aunt had type 1 diabetes it was nightmare trying to get nice box of chocs that where suger free

i love homemade booze .lady i drove horse for made cherry vodka omg it was lovely but strong

I think anything homemade makes a lovely present. It shows that the person giving it has given their time and effort to make something personalised and I would always be grateful that they had gone to all that trouble.

i.use to bake all time when i lived at home with my grandparants we use to have homemade cream teas
i really hope my health gets better so i can get back to baking and craft work
their is xmas fair in village at end of month will be nice to see all hand made crafty things and home baking
it is my grans birthday in 4 weeks she loves candles so decided to get her candle making kit .
