Has any of the members had any experience with a puppy retaining its K9s.

Ive a pup with its upper baby K9s retained. The adult teeth are through at the moment they don't seem to be growing out of place but the baby K9s are still solid. The last few days Ive been giving her lamb rib bones in the hope they will work slack.

I had to figure out what 'K9s' were      I'd get what's going on checked by your vet before the adults are affected by these stubborn puppy teeth.   Sometimes they can be left until the bitch is spayed (not so much with castration and the male because I don't do castration unless necessary for medical reasons, and certainly not before a least a year old) .... at which time the vet can whip out any puppy teeth that haven't come out.

I had this with my GSD, I took her to the vet who said they wouldn't now come out and would need surgery to remove them so we booked her in!, on the morning of her op she was playing with her tuggy for some reason I checked her teeth and both retained teeth had come out :lol: she was about 15 mths at the time

Yes I've had this.  Although I have a breed renowned for this, it was the first time that I'd had one that retained the whole of the upper baby teeth.  I would normally have one or two retained took out at 6 months when the pup has a free 6 month puppy health check.

However, as I had never seen as many retained before I had them all removed before I sold him on (cheaply) to someone who had a pup from me previously.  As I knew them very well I knew the pup would not be used for breeding.  In fact they brought the 2 year old with them, and they started playing right away.  It was an ideal situation.
