This is for a sheltie. We are only at open show level as yet and as there is no champ shows local to us for quite some time I was wondering if there is anything on line that can be recommended. Our ringcraft tutor gave us an adjustable very thin cord one that he recommended but it is hard on the hands and I am sure not very kind to the dog. I have seen others using a leather half check one piece that I could see being better. Any advice?

Lots on-line, Luxway canine supplies have all sorts and there are various leather makers, just Google for these, off the top of my head there is Essenjay Leathercraft (had their leads and collars), Hide and Collars etc
