If u are on fb I would suggest joining one if the groups as there is loafs of info in them something like raw feeding UK, barf diet chat or raw feeding rebels. Basically you are looking at approx 2.5% of body weight for adults minimum of 4 proteins more us great and 80% meat 10% bone 10% offal including 5% liver. Start one protein at a time add bone in week two and offal after a couple of weeks small amounts first . recommended reading the dogs dinner by Ann Ridyard

There are now a lot of raw complete available a lot of them deliver check out this dog food website. Just set the filter to raw for the different suppliers. They're god if you don't feel ready to go diy straight away. One thing I will say is you'll need lots of freezer space if you buy the ready made.

Google "Raw food vets"

There is also a usefull article online by Mark Elliott and associates "Natural feeding for dogs".

Do not be scared the whole process is easy and change over can be very quick.

I hate facebook, I have never used their site and never intend to either !!

Raw umo is best but you do need to understand what you are doing. One problem with completes is that not all are complete inspire if their name some contain other things that arnt always needed and can complicate the picture also they very in bone content. All fine as long as you learn how to change the balance for your dog.each is unique. Mine rarely have cinpletesvut the bone content is often to high so u add more meat. Learn to poi watch .hard and crumbly add more meat soft add more bone

If you are not too sure just how completely ballanced your raw food is take a look at "Smart Barf" for suppliments.

you should need supplements in a healthy dog with a balanced diet. A healthy diet can  achieved by understanding what you are doing and what you are feeding.
smart barf may be right for some but its very expensive especially for large dogs. There are loads of extras around but basically you need meat offal and bone and a variety of proteins

I know you mean complete there!  That is interesting because I use a complete food for my youngster because I just can't get my head around all the information out there.  His poo is often white and I have read that it is because there is too much bone in it - however I have relied on the company to get it right so haven't changed anything.  Also the amount to feed is difficult - a lot of people say go by the look of the dog not by the packet.  I am feeding 500g - which is over 3% of his body weight - he is actually just over 15kg and I would like him nearer 16kg!  He is very active and has treats.   What I will say is that care has to be taken with feeding bones - I quite often read that using chicken wings as a change is good - but my older dog passed a large piece of jagged bone after having - (raw) - chicken wings.  Hence I keep to ready prepared, ready minced foods - my older dog has gone back to kibble.

Absolutely furrierfriends, but not everyone is or can be 100% sure that they have got it right!
This was mentioned as a suggestion.
