i have pro lapsed disc in lumer 3/4 again for 3rd time .i have had 2 disc surgies which failed
this pro laspse is so painful and worse than last two  on top of pro lasp i have bad hip due to hip displasa and ME
am so misabral fed up can not cope i have tried tens .co codmal.amittriptlym
heat pads .excercise ball nothing works i can not cope really had enough
i see surgeon on monday so hope he helps me
i have show on sund not lookin forward to hope my pointer behaves

Sorry you're going through such pain.  I have been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my left hip.  Cocodamol would be as much help to me as Smarties.  Get your GP to give you a prescription for Codeine Phosphate.  NOT Tramadol!  Tramadol is the synthetic version, while Codeine is the dogs doodahs. It is the only thing that keeps me sane.  I have enough problems with COPD so I like to be as pain free as I can.

I can relate to your pain. Had spine fusion 12 years ago, Friday had my right side nerve degeneration done, so feeling the pain and discomfort.  Hopefully like the left side done 3 years ago after 2/3 weeks of increased pain it will settle down to a pain I can tolerate with.
Missing my dog walks after 2 days! I'd forgotten about the humongous headache after the procedure.
Hope you get some good news for prognosis from surgeon
