When looking for pregnancy signs & they say it's a good sign if the vulva stays slightly swollen.. How swollen are we talking?

A few months ago I posted here about this very subject, as I had a bitch whose vulva had definitely shrank back to its normal size after her season, and after having been mated. She ended up having a large litter for her breed, so clearly in her case it was no indication at all.

Smaller than standing heat but bigger than when not in season

Well having my girl scanned on Thursday, her vulva is back to normal size, but she is tidy even when in season.

Maiden bitch (will be three in May) and 9 1/2 year old male whose last litter were born in August 2013.

Her season started on march 8th she went to my studs on the 15th for a wk. It's still quite swollen not like full blown when in season but still puffy. Wish I could attach a pic

Would this still be normal if not pregnant to have this with the timing of her season?

Waiting is killing me...
