Hi, does anyone know roughly how long it's taking to register a litter with the KC via paper/post at the moment? Thanks

At the moment - no.  But before I registered litters online I always seemed to get paperwork back within a week.  I was always pretty impressed with responses.

Not my litter, I would have done it online, it's the breeder of my new pup.

Not quite the same but I transferred a pup online about a week ago and the dog showed up in my online account after half an hour. The same day I posted the form to add my kennel name to his name and that hasn't even shown up in my account yet, so it seems to me that anything done in the post takes at least a week or more to appear online and then it's always a further week before paperwork arrives.

Also been waiting over a month for my latest eye test results to appear online, now that is something that always seems to take forever.

That is because the eye certificates are on a pad, and many of the vets don't send them in until they have done the whole batch.

Whereas Hips are submitted individually and when the panel scores a bath they all go up to KC together.

If you scan a copy of the certificate and email it to them they will put it up for you straight away.

I thought my DNA Tests (PRA & FN) took ages to go up but turns out vet had put pet name instead of KC name on form! Luckily they had put KC Reg number on and microchip obviously so it didn't take too long to sort out in the end.

One of my pet hates with vets, they look at me cockeyed when I insist they include the dogs registered names on records and vaccination cards

I know, I can't fault me vets for anything else bar pet names mind!

Just to update here -not even this is helping now. I emailed them a scanned copy of the eye test cert several days ago, have had no reply and the results are still not updated. Bit miffed as I want puppy buyers to be able to check online that the test is up to date, now it looks like it isn't.

We're waiting for the regsitrations to be processed too. The money has gone from my account and the KC have sent me a VAT receipt, but that was last week.

My recent import registration didn't show till 45 days after they had taken the money from my account.
