Can I ask please on what day does everyone start taking temperatures.  It seems to be a very grey area.  Some people seem to take it as early as 50 days and some as late as 59/60 days.  I am at day 52 so not sure when to start. Thank you.

I usually start around day 56/57.

I started to take her temperature yesterday.  In the morning it was 100.4  last night it was 99.8.  That is as far as I can get with her.  Today she is bum on the floor and not a chance.  I did it yesterday with her laying on her side, but she's not having any of it now, and I really don't want to stress her.  The trouble is I don't know where she is now in relation to giving birth.  I'm pretty sure it's impossible to tell with two readings.  She is quite fidgety and wimpers occasionally.  Last night she was scratching at the papers.  Can anybody help please?

I usually do it when the bitch is lying relaxed on the sofa.  No, two readings is not enough to tell, as it will go up and down in the day.  Sounds like it is still early days yet.  I take one in the morning and one in the evening.
