I know this isn't the question you've asked (!) but I can highly recommend TPMS if you are in their delivery area.  The meat is excellent quality and they ALWAYS come when they say they will (deliveries by area on the same day each week or fortnightly).  I've always found the staff to be very considerate and friendly - I've had the same delivery man for years and he is very willing to leave the food exactly where I want it, including putting it straight in the garage freezer if I'm not at home.  I think their prices are favourable too, they've always been there and thereabouts when I've done comparisons.

HTH,  although I may have confused you further!!

More than happy with DAF have been using it for about 10 years and no problems. Dogs always eat up and the cats do too and they can be fussy!!

I've heard some bad things about DAF. But I used them for around 2 years getting through 120lbs a month and never had a single problem. I've fed a lot of different brands and imo it's a good food. My supplier moved to stocking bulmers so I've been using that but they've just ceased trading and I'm looking at a more local supplier who stocks DAF. May use naturaw though who stock MVM, as it works out about the same price and MVM was slightly better when I used it.

Are DAF the ones that sell in PAH? or am I confusing them with someone else?
If it is, I didn't like the actual food.  The minces are more like mush than meat.  I use these only in an emergency as mine will protest.
My local supplier delivers darn saf  Try googling Nisbet pet supplies(they are on facebook) or Fife animal feeds.  They both use the same abattoir so the supply is similar as are the prices, I just suppose it depends on who can deliver to you.  I am extremely happy with Nisbet.  Maureen has become a good friend and delivers exactly when she says she will.  Food is the best my lot have ever had and she will cater to any pets tastes.
Nothing worse than being let down by your supplier.  I loose all confidence in them that's why I know Maureen is a wee treasure!

Very helpful thank u.am currently in talks with my butcher it seems if I order a load he maybe able to come up with something at a good price. Then I will pick up the rest from some of those suggested

No Cracar, the pets at home mince is natures menu not DAF, and I agree with you, slushy cardboardesque stuff on the whole. Free flow minces of NM are a bit better.
