Hi all,

My bitch is 19 days pregnant (possibly). I am a little concerned about a discharge i've seen from her last night. She was sitting on my foot and a sudden discharge came out when she sat up. It appeared to be clear mucus with dark brown streaks - however, she licked it up before I could get a look at it.

I studied her closely for additional discharge through the evening but she nothing was released. She slept beside me at night and I had a white t shirt on. When I got up this morning, where she had been sleeping beside me she had released a drop of discharge. It was dried in but seemed to have a slight yellow tinge. No distinct smell.

There is no smell from her vulva, she is fine in herself, her temperature is reading 38.5, eating fine and she isn't drinking excessively. We are visiting the vet tonight but just interested in thoughts about this? This is her second litter and I don't remember this the first time round - but I have been studying her closely and the discharge is really a "blink and you'll miss it" kind of thing.
