My girl is day 53. Not eaten much today and what was eaten was sicked back. Poos in the house as well (unusual) Too soon for a viable litter. Nightmare.

She only needs another 3 days though for a perfectly viable litter. So positive vibes coming your way. :-)

Appetite back, thanks for your comments, she seems fine now....8 days to go

Does your breed usually go 63 days? One of mine I've never had reach 60 days, the other is later but still tends to be 61-62.

They do vary, had 1 litter at 56 days and they were all fine but usually 62/63. Lost a litter last year at 54 days but there was a problem (some pups not fully formed). Only 1 mating here so I know the due date.

Puppies born on day 57, one pup born naturally, section for the other 4 at 2am (2 puppies trying to be born at once) Lost 2 and mum had to be spayed due to damage done by the 2 wanting out at the same time. Good news is, mum is fine and 3 pups also fine. Only problem is too many people on waiting list. Lizzie loves being a mum and has not left them yet, bless her

Mixed news for sure that -very glad mum is okay and that you have 3 live pups.

I'm glad that your bitch is ok. It is such a worry when they need surgery. I have always said to the vet that I don't care about the puppies as long as my girl is fine.

Thanks for your support. Found out yesterday that if I had left it longer, would have lost mum and pups if I had left it any longer as her uterus had ruptured.
