Anyone on the forum have experience with this that could maybe share?
I've posted before about my little cocker having Immune Meditated Polyarthritis and we have been dealing with this for the past couple of years.  She is OK but I can't drop her steroids and would love some advice from anyone who has done this successfully.

Yeah, I've been there at the beginning for advice.  Thing is, they gave me totally different advice from my vet.  I've tried it both ways and neither worked. :( I tried the vets way first and then I tried the immune suppressing CIMDA way.  She reacted the same way in the end.  thanks though :)

I have a collie that had IMPA a couple of years ago.
We were lucky and he was weaned off steroids very very slowly and didn't relapse.
I got lots of advice from CIMDA too
I also have another collie who had SRMA, he did relapse once but we restarted the steroids and weaned him off more slowly the second time.  Fingers crossed he is now just over 1 year drug free.
Hope you find some answers x
