Has anyone used the Julius K9 Harnesses. Are they secure/can the dog wriggle out of them?

Need some new harnesses and these have been recommended but I don't want to spend money if they are as escapable as they look.

I road walk and need something very secure.

I have one, but I don't have a Houdini!
I believe you can get an attachment to the chest plate that goes between the front legs, which may help.

Haven't used mine that much until recently when my oldie had a vestibular attack - she wore it for a week day & night, as it was perfect to support her via the handle. I don't think I'd have got her to the vets without it as she could barely stand for a few days, and needed help getting down the stairs in the morning (still does).

Thanks :)

Mine aren't houdinis and usually are bomb proof on and around the roads, but it only takes something to spook them. If we were walking off lead/off road I'd not be worried :)

They're made to fit quite snugly around the chest behind the front legs, with a wide strap. I imagine they'd be hard to back out of with the additional chest band.

I have one , with the extra chest strap, which I've never used ( the strap not the harness ) but I don't have a Houdini either.
If I was really concerned that my dog would try to wriggle out, I would opt for a Ruff Wear harness, expensive, but I seriously doubt any dog could get out of one.
I use the Ruff Wear if there's going to be lifting on the walk.

I saw a dog back out of one at a flyball comp once. Until that I was thinking of getting one.

I've looked at the ruffwhere one which looks good, but I found someone who makes escape proof flyball harness much cheaper.

I have one in an xtra dog harness which is great but so pricy!

Nando has never escaped from his but I know of a beagle that has done so.

I reccomend the perfect fit if you have a Houdini.

I couldn't get the perfect fit to fit one of mine :D
