Any electricians out there? Have an electric type fire.Info on back says 230-240v-50Hz
1850-2050w
Plug keep heating up and fuses. It was fitted with a 5 amp fuse . Is this correct? Wire is clean and break free, plug is wired okay so wonder what problem might be?

You say the fire is 1850-2050w. 5 amp fuses are for appliances UP TO 1200w, you would need a 13 amp fuse for the fire.
