Hi guys,
I have a litter aged 8 days old now..all doing well..apart from one boy who is screaming after feeding. He does settle eventually after 5-10 mins but the noise isnt right. He is being toileted and is passing both poo and wee normally. He is also feeding fine. I am hoping it is colic as he is such a greedy puppy. I have given him a few drops of infacol and he is booked into see my vet later today if there is no improvement. Any ideas?

Is he gaining weight as well as the rest? I had a pup like this in my last litter, in fact it was the one I kept. She was the biggest and just mum's milk didn't seem enough for her as she seemed hungry and cried even after feeding. I put a plate of raw mince in front of her on the day she turned 12 days and she stuffed herself, and from that day onwards never cried after feeding from mum again. I was so worried about her when she was about a week old but there clearly was nothing wrong with her. She's 8 months old now and still a big girl.

Yes hes the biggest pup feeding really well..just started this crying this morning. And when I say crying I mean screaming. I have just given him a few drops of infacol and he has settled after feeding. I may still take him toe the vet later for my peace of mind.
