My two and a half year old entire dog recently had a general checkup, during which the vet identified that his prostate gland is somewhat enlarged. Because he was being examined for something else, I omitted to go into this one in any depth aside from identifying that no immediate treatment is needed.
Obviously I need to discuss the enlarged gland with the vet, but I'd appreciate any information to help me have an intelligent discussion. I would prefer not to have him castrated if possible, I hope this is realistic.
Many thanks in advance.
