Hi guys,

just after some advice... my bitch is 6 weeks pregnant and we are due puppies around the 12th Oct. I decided to spruce up my whelping room with a lick of paint..I used Dulex wall paint and I also painted the skirting board with white gloss. My dogs have not been anywhere near the room during the painting or drying process. I painted the room on Sat and its dry now but really stinks of fumes. I am worried about the fumes..the room is well ventilated and the window is permanently opened. Just hoping its clear in time for when my bitch is due! I probably should not have painted it :(
Am I worrying for nothing?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do find that personally, paint fumes affect my stomach and bowel - weirdly!

Here are some tips for getting rid of the smell of fresh paint http://www.jackspaint.co.za/blog/site/how-to-get-rid-of-paint-smells/
