Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a good dog oral care product that works for bad breath, any solutions?

I've had good results using
Petzlife products.
Do you know the reasons for your dogs bad breath? In addition to improving dental hygiene do talk to your vet about other underlying problems. Small changes in diet can also help but I'd always want to to rule out a medical problem first
Can I ask which you have tried ?
I do brush my dogs teeth, but not often enough as she hates it, but it makes no difference. The plaque has suddenly started to build and I want to get it off before problems start. TIA.
I'd be interested in any recommendations for what to use for cleaning and what frequency everyone brushes. My dog has recently had to change diet which is high in carbs and his teeth are becoming stained. He used to be fed raw and had sparkly white teeth but now he's not allowed bones and his teeth are looking terrible.
Try hooves, you can buy them on Zooplus mine love them and spend hours gnawing on them. They have the added advantage of not being to hard to break teeth.
I found Petzlife worked initially (after a month's use), but I've been using it for 2 years now, and it seems to have stopped working. The plaque is beginning to creep back. I do as instructed and rub it on their teeth every night religiously, and some mornings too.
Can anyone recommend a toothpaste they have tried and tested, with good results? My vets sell the Virbac Enzymatic toothpaste, and the Logic Oral Hygiene Gel toothpaste. But I'm looking for recommendations, as I've tried both of these in the past (before petzlife), and don't remember any of them being particularly good.
I know people have suggested hooves and raw bones, but mine just aren't interested and look at me as though I'm daft.

I snap plaque off with my thumb nail. If it is particularly difficult I just loosen it gradually. This is for the dogs that are too wriggly for me to use metal dental scalers.

Dorwest Roast Dinner Toothpaste. It comes in a tub and I just put some on my finger (small mouths that don't like toothbrushes) It's quite gritty.
Thanks Boo16, that's one I've always wanted to get but I have had my doubts.
Looks like i'll have to give it a try :)

You're welcome, Snauzeriffic. It's a bit like a tub of putty - same colour and consistency.
