We've got the most wonderful whippet puppy who's great in every way except he's incredibly fussy about what he'll eat. We've tried everything from complete puppy dry & canned, to fresh meat (beef, chicken, tripe), to scrambled eggs, to every type of upmarket dog food ... & even when he eats something enthusiastically once, the next time we present it to him, he looks at us as if to say "are you mad?". He's eating VERY little although seems well, has loads of energy & is otherwise very bouncy & happy. Can anyone recommend anything or is this just a whippet trait? All info VERY gratefully received as this is costing us a FORTUNE! Hilary

I have an 11 month old saluki, and he is exactly the same, i have now come to terms with it, and i dont give in anymore, he will eat what i put down to him, or he goes hungry, it has taken a lomg time for ME to do this, but it has worked. I was givin this advice from a few people on this board.
