Can anyone advise how Heart Test Results are added to either The Kennel Clubs or Breed Clubs databases. Is this down to the Breeder to inform the Clubs or is this information passed directly from the Vet.

Where there is an official testing scheme for a breed, the results are sent by the vet to the KC. If there is no official scheme, the results do NOT get added. I could be wrong but I don't think there is such a thing as a breed who gets heart tests recorded by the KC. (?) Having looked at the list for assured breeders, there is no breed with a required heart test. Cavaliers for instance have it as a recommended test via breed club, and they are not made official. Just like one of my breeds, Papillon is recommended to be eye tested but the tests are not ever added to KC records. But I don't know if any breeds have official heart testing schemes.
