has anyone got any experience of either tellington touch harness fleece or otherwise or the mekuti. I know they are similar the mekuti comes with a lead which some say is to thin but you have to use as it fits through the loop on the dogs chest. I have halti double ended leads which I love so would prefer to use that.
Reason for having one is that Brooke pulls on a collar and lead unless we are training and that's hardly practical for all times she is on lead. I am trying to fix it and get her on to a loose lead but in the meanwhile thinking about on of these.
I have tried all sorts of head collars but she isn't going anywhere on any of them so have given up it stresses her too much . Ordinary harness with one ring on the back just gives her the chance to be have like she is pulling a sled !
Going to wards the tellington touch because of the lead
any thoughts would be grateful thank you

They are very similar, and I'd go for those over the mekuti personally.  I know a lot of people who really rate the mekuti but I find it way too fiddly, especially if you need to be taking the dog on and off quickly.

I find the harnesses with a ring at the front (on the chest) are much better than those which have the ring between the shoulders. When they pull it pulls them towards you, they can't pull into the harness. This is the one I prefer (the Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness): http://www.friendsoffido.co.uk/easy-walk-harness-c12.html (a google search will bring up plenty of suppliers).

I've got both a fleece lined (Dog Games Perfect Fit) and the Easywalk one and I find the Easywalk is probably better at reducing pulling without any effort on your part, however the dog games shop one is my preferred harness as it is more comfortable looking at better made. It has a front D-ring on it. I use it with my double-ended halti lead.

You can use one of the small Halti double-ended leads with a Mekuti.

Try
http://www.fleurdeleadz.co.uk/    I have had various things from this lady, she will make you any size shape you want, extra D rings if you want them, padded, fleece lined.
Also does matching leads of any length required and can add double clips extra rings whatever you want. All very sturdy and guaranteed if you ever want repairs or alterations she is very accommodating and no foreign imported crap !
She makes a lot for flyball teams, but also does various anti-pull harness depending on the breed, she is also a lot cheaper than most of the named brands.
She is on Facebook as well as the website.

I've recently bought a Freedom harness which has lead connections on the chest and on the back. It does come with a double ended lead with a 'floating' handle. I've found it works extremely well with a bouncy young Golden and she is beginning to walk far better since I've been using it.

We use both the green tt and fleece harnesses from xtra dog. They are very good and I completely recommend them. The staff are very helpful as well.
