Hi peeps.. can anyone who has turtle mats tell me if the multi grip mats slip on hard wood floors? I  have noticed my older girl is occasionally slipping on the wooden floors so considering a large mat for the hall .

Hi.  I have Turtle Mats on wooden (and tiled) floors.  I find them brilliant.  They do not slide around - as long as you get the type intended for such floors.  If you choose the right colour they don't show the dirt either although they do wash very well and dry very well!

I have them in the kitchen and hallway and they really do the job.

Vetwrap round the paws is very good for stopping the slipping

Thanks smithy.. but wouldnt be suitable for a beardie with big fluffy feet.. I clip them underneath and around the edge have just put a good dollop of paw wax on, we have noticed she isnt as strong on her back end since being spayed a few months ago  I presume the muscle tone is lacking after the surgery plus she has gained a little weight although vet thinks she is ok ... she is fine when outside bouncing around the garden no problemo or on the living room rug  wooden floors are ideal when they are young ..my other dogs are fine just starting to worry a little about her and want to sort it before anything untoward occurs... if we have to  lay carpet  so be it.
