Please could anyone tell me is it against the law for people to buy puppy,s from puppy farms and sell them on. As I am totally against this practice and would like to stop it going on. Jane.

Unfortunately it is not, and is unlikely to be so. Something to do with restraint of trade. Unfortunately some view puppies as a product/commodity.

I have always felt that if the retail outlets for puppy farm pups were taken away the business would become unprofitable.

How many puppy farmers would want lots of people coming individually to get their cute pup. How many of them would actually buy if they realised? also it would be very time dconsuming dealing with individuals, and be open to to much public scrutiny for the puppy farmesrs comfort.
