I live in the Central South and I am looking for a stud dog for my 2 year old boxer bitch. What is the best way to go about this? Any info would be much appreciated.

Best place to start is through the Boxer club if you search in google you will see them they are up and down the country. Contack one of these for advice.

Not sure if this is your first time breeding or not but bare in mind Boxers can have very large litters and you have to find good homes for them all and then give support to new owners after this. It is quite common for breeders to get Boxer puppies back as they can be very demanding in their first 24 months which you will know. There are hundreds in rescue.

It is very important to have both dogs hearts tested also.

Sorry if you already have thought about all of this just trying to offer some freindly support.

Although I have 2 westies I have been around boxers for 20 years.

Good luck in your search.

Pam

Hi Guest
The best way of getting info on a suitable stud for your bitch is to 'phone her breeder.
The breeder will know his/her line inside out and will know which & what will mix well with it, he/she may even recommend a suitable stud.
Be prepared to travel to the right dog. :)
