Hi!

What do people find most effective? Do you swap products through the year for the seasons and if so what do you switch to?

I'm trying to steer clear of chemicals with the dog if I can so have been trying 'Billy no mates' which puts a smile on my face every time I see to tub if nothing else. It's a herb mix which does smell quite strongly and Isla's not keen really, but there are tablet and I think powder formulas. We are currently staying on the Suffolk coast in amongst heathland which has a tendency for ticks. So far haven't found any on her in the two weeks we have been here, but early days.

We mostly use fipronil which we get online, with an occasional burst of Frontline spray if I suspect harvest mites in the autumn......

I use stronghold the vet does a pet health club that I pay into each month so I don't change. One dog is very quiet for a few days on it I've tried advocate but it made him sick so he don't have any flea treatment now.
