Just wondering what people use to jet wash your paths/paved/exercise areas down that's safe for puppies but discourages algae formation?

I've used this stuff in the past with very good results.

Organic and safe for pets and fish, it claims it keeps algae at bay for up to a year, when I used it , it kept the patio clear for about six months, but I have hens who like to poop on the patio, so not ideal conditions.
