I've just plugged mine in after not using it for 2yrs and it's overheating and I've decided to get a new one.
I was wondering if brand makes a lot of difference like in other appliances?
I've just purchased a lovely new Bosch washing machine and would really now like to keep costs down on a dryer if possible, but don't know it something like Beko is worth risking or not?
Zanussi and no problems with it for years.

I have a Zanussi vented tumble dryer.
I use to have the condenser type tumble dryer but I found that they seemed to get much hotter than the vented type and tended to shrink clothes even faster. When I had the condenser type I found you just had to get whatever one they stocked in your local shops. I guess nowadays you could go online and get whatever type you wanted.

Having recently asked on this forum for advice on a new washing machine I have just bought a Bosch (thanks everyone for your input). During my research I also looked at tumble dryers and made some notes as I scoured the Which magazines in the local library. In the March 2014 Which magazine I noted that best buy condenser dryer for reliability was a Miele, but it cost a fortune, £900+! Best value condenser drier was a Zanussi at around £469ish. A Beko condenser dryer came out well in the Nov 2013 magazine and was around £299. Good luck in your search.

Ive always had hotpoint or creda almost identucal. Am ny third now in 25 years not bad considerung the amount of use it gets with a family. I have the small 7lb one that has optional wall hanging bracket.if its ypu and the dogs sue it should be rnougj. Cost around 150
