I am thinking of doing this as  saw it on martin lewis money show and have looked at some of the websites. There are a few peer to peer lending companies and wondered has anyone on here done it and made more than the banks are offering on their savings like the websites claim to? Zopa.com appears user friendly and is going to be regulated in April 2014 by the FCA.

We haven't done it although we considered it. Our thinking was that if we invested a small amount of money, the extra we made probably wouldn't be worth it and we aren't happy enough with the concept to invest a large amount :) :)

Martin Lewis was advertising it but maybe it works better or is less risky for a borrower rather than a lender.
