I have been struggling to get Panacur liquid down my bitch who has already whelped, I had Panacur granules and gave them to her to-night. She has just thrown up what looks like all of the food she has had to-day. Any ideas. I'm giving her lots of different things to make she is Ok on weight but this has not been a problem until to-day.

When I've had difficult bitches I've poached white fish in milk, and added the Panacur to it.  They have been so keen on the fish that they haven't noticed.

She is right as rain to-day. She ate the granules with her food but was violently sick.
Think I'll leave her now and start worming with the puppies at 2 weeks.

I thought that she had already whelped?  I worm mine from day 42 of gestation, but don't start again until pups are wormed.  Am I misunderstanding?

Yes she has but the couple of days of whelping she didn't get her wormer so I thought it was Ok to do it then.
I had wormed right through as you said from day 42 apart from that with Panacur liquid. Problem was it was putting her off food no matter how I wrapped it in the milk and so she was not eating it. I started shovelling it down her.

If she's been wormed from day 42, I certainly wouldn't be worried about a couple of lost days.  It's happened to me, and I have never, ever seen a worm.  Honestly, missing such a small percentage of worming days will cause nothing detrimental to the pups or mum.  I so envy any of you with litters about, I adore rearing pups.  :-)

OK I did wonder. Lol I meant wrapped it in the meat not the milk!
I will worm her again when I start the pups at 2 weeks.
