Hi There

MANY many years ago I registered on this site, as I was looking for a dog but was unsure what breed etc. Anyway the decision was in the end NO DOG as the reality was I was working most days, and although love dogs would not be able to devote the time to them, I ended up with cats instead!

I have just popped back - under a new name as I cannot find my previous details -because I am now about to move to a rural Spain, Extremadura to be precise, where we will no longer be working, but are buying a small house with several acres and I can now have the dogs I have always wanted. Our intention is to have a couple of Spanish Mastines - we have Spanish contacts and friends with this breed and a couple of rescues.  So I wanted to say thanks to all of you for your advice a few years ago, I am glad I did not get dogs back then as I could not have done them justice, now we have the time space and energy to do want we want.

I think you need to leave again or I will get very jealous listening to tales of you whiling away your days with your dogs in the sunshine!!

Glad things worked out in the end, how sensible for you to consider your circumstances so carefully :)
