Each individual has different different areas of interest in 'dog' topics, this thread is aimed at anyone & everyone on the forum to link the post they as individuals would 'vote' or favour as their choice, preferably giving some reasons as to why they are choosing that individual post.

My 1st choice of 2013 is a post by Mastifflover on 21/12/13 (link below) on the subject of Glucosamine information.

I choose it for the following reasons, amongst others:

1)  Glucosamine benefits have been discussed many times by numerous people. Numerous people over the years have come up with interesting things about it from various sources such as vets & in my case vets & my GP, but over period of appx 10 years I have never sourced anything beyond their personal opinion(s) based on anecdotal data, which in fact vary to some extent from one individual to the next & one of the forums chronic, repetitive, gloom & doom merchants even seemed to be referencing Sainsburys dosage instructions.

2)  All the information I had either read or heard, over the years, overwhelmingly ruled out that glucosamine had any effect at all in influencing 'arthritis' in a positive way. The link Mastifflover posted shows there is now some strong research evidence that Glucosamine & Chrondroitine mix significantly indicates that arthritis damage tissue repair does take place in some individuals.

3)  The subject itself has a relevance to every dog owner in their everyday life regardless of breed or size, I think its safe to say that there is no current member, no past member & no non registered reader of this forums history who cannot get some useful benefit of reading Mastifflovers link.

3)  Mastifflover personally showed a progression in her manner of posting, specifically, she took the time a trouble to carry out what can be tedious research & reading to eliminate this & accept that & then post the link, a characteristic all to lacking in all forums and UK Unis. So, below is the direct link to that Mastifflovers post
