Any recommendations for fabric fold down crates..need one for open shows and to put on benches, I know some are easier to collapse than others.

Suggestions appreciated  .

I bought a Maelson crate--extremely well made and durable, well worth the money--see http://www.maelson.de/softkennel.html

I also found it paid to shop around.

I have one very similar, but also bought one very like but that also had a third opener on long side, much better when using in the back of the car.

The Maelson crates can be put up  in a minute. It has a metal frame with a pair of rods which insert into each other that form the top sides of the crate. I usually have between 2 and 4 medium sized gundogs twirling about as I set up so I need to do it one handed :-)

You need to check the size of benching available for your breed if you want the crate to sit on the bench. I use smaller wire crates at champ shows because our benches are only 50cm wide.I use the soft crate at open shows and it's big enough to comfortably fit 2 dogs.
