I'm looking in to getting one of these bowls for one of my girls.
There are quite a few different ones on the market, just looking for any recommendations on which ones people have found works for them.

I have one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trixie-Slow-Feed-Bowl-1-5/dp/B003TOQ0CG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385226958&sr=8-1&keywords=slow+feed+bowl - for my pup. It has definitely slowed him down and at this price, it was worth seeing if it worked, which it did ;-) I may or may not move onto one of the more expensive ones if this stop working but I think that a lot of it depends on the shape of the dogs nose.

I bought the fish4dogs bowl and it's amazing how well it works.  Only used it a few times and could go back to a normal one.

Do you feed dried, tinned or raw?? If raw, The Company of Animals do a great one that looks like plastic grass and works well for raw feeders who use mince.

I have Leos so big noses & need not too small bowl:-)
Feed some kibble and some raw, she inhales anything I put in her bowl...
I think I could put small stones in and she would eat them and then think that was a bit tasteless meal.

I feed my GR kibble and am in the process of moving her onto Arden Grange adult large breed kibble. The individual pieces are big, about the size of a 2p piece and much thicker. It slows my girl down, not that she's a greedy eater, if that's any help to anyone.

The smaller version of the one Josh mentioned is coming up on the Black Friday Deals on Amazon in a minute.  Here is the larger sized one.

It looks quite interesting and presumably you can put it inside your dogs normal bowl if you wish.  It certainly looks as if it might help slow your dog down :)
