The vets ( where I got my hand rear pups) gave me a partially used tub of whelpi..but ever since they had had quite bad scooby poos....very watery..took them to the vets and they got a wee jab and glucolyte to alternate with the feeds...

I was just wondering how does it last before it needs got rid of....I'm thinking if the milk powder is a bit off that could have done it....they were a bit constipated at first but I adjusted the ratio slightly and it seemed to have worked u til I got this "new" tub...

Whelpi when sealed lasts around a year from memory but there is NO way I'd use a partially opened tub from anywhere..
Its the same as baby milk, and isn't sterile, which is why you make it up so hot and cool it down.
