My girl is due tomorrow, by dates anyway ha and i was just wanting to know if it is all perfectly normal to be leaking milk?? She cant sit down or be touched near her teats without leaking. Its all over her bed from when she lies down and i few drops on the floor can be found on her way out!

Is this all normal? is it maybe a sign that pups are on there way? will this effect the pups getting the much needed colostrum? which is more my worry:)

Any reassuring advice welcome please!

It's fine.  Sometimes they leak for several days before whelping - other times they don't seem to get the milk until the puppies are born.  All normal.

And the colostrum will still be produced for 12 hours or so after whelping.

Thanks for the peace of mind :)  I think when its your own you tend to over think and look too much into it ha!!

fingers crossed babies will be here soon to keep me busy and give me even more to worry about - cant wait!!
