I think there is a rule about not showing under a judge who has handled your dogs in the last 12 months. Just wondering what that entails. Is it just someone who handles your dogs in the show ring or is it any sort of handling , for instance  thraveling to shows together and helping with the dogs or visiting each others houses and seeing and probably ppaying/ stroking  the dogs.

Also I know you cant show under your dogs breeder but can your dogs breeder show under you?

When I asked the KC about handling I was told it refers to handling/exhibiting in the ring, not simply handling as in touching. :-)

Handling rule include actual handling in the ring, also includes boarding or activily involved in trimming etc for the ring. It does not include any form of social contact.

There is no rule to prevent someone showing under a scheduled judge that they may have sold a dog to
