I'm thinking about getting a new harness for flyball as Fay has ripped her Xtra dog fleece harness again that I got at crufts last year. She ripped it at flyball as I hold her by where the ring is on the back and as she is pulling and sometimes twists and the stitching ripped. My mother used the sewing machine to fix it but it ripped again while doing flyball.

I picked this one as it is comfortable due to the fleece so if I did get a new one I'd want it be to comfortable too. The company do a flyball harness but it's basically the same design but has a handle  and ment to be stronger but I just don't know, don't want to get one and have the stitching rip again. I've seen most of the dogs at the flyball comp were wearing Julius k9 power harness but the straps across the frount and round belly don't look like they would be comfortable when she pulls and one dog slipped out of one and did a runner.

I've seen one I like the look of (i like the wide chest plate) but it's very expensive at £46 not including the postage.

I may wait till crufts again and have a look and chat to the stalls there.

I have a Perfect Fit harness for Nando from Dog games shop (http://dog-games-shop.co.uk) He doesn't do anything like flyball but I would recommend them. I also have a Julius K9 Power Harness for him, and I don't understand how a dog broke out of one of those!! Julius K9 does other types of harness so they may have one with a handle on? I've also seen a three peaks harness with handle on, too.

Checking the link out now thanks.
Well the dog had gotten past the netting and the owner once caught up got hold of the handle on it and it pulled backwards and struggled and twisted and it just slipped off, it must have gotten Its legs threw the bottom strap while the owner was pulling the top of the harness and the dog pulling back.

A handle isn't realy a must for me but it would be nice, the current one doesn't have a handle but as I wind her pup befor releasing her all the pulling just broke the stitching next to where I was holding.

Try this lady very reasonably priced she makes a lot for fly ball and agility teams.
She will make to your own design, put extra D rings on or whatever you require.
