Topic Dog Boards / General / DFDS Newcastle - Amsterdam ferry kennels?

Has anyone used the DFDS North Shields to Amsterdam route with dogs? I really liked the Harwich to Hook crossing with my dogs but Harwich is an 8 hour drive from me, North Shields less than half that. I wouldn't consider this longer crossing with an adult dog but I am collecting a puppy who is not house trained so will be going to the loo on newspaper anyway.

Looking at the website it seems to suggest that you don't have free access to the kennels like you do on the Stena Harwich crossing. Has anyone used the DFDS one and can let me know where the kennels are, what they are like and if I can sit in there with the pup? I'm going to phone the booking number in the morning but there's nothing like a personal report :)
