I'm looking for a reasonable sized blanket to drape over the sofa or the bench seat of the motorhome for the dog to lie on. Would need to be waterproof on one side and machine washable. Any suggestions?

You can get like tartan type rugs with a waterproof side that are designed for picnics. Not sure if they are machine washable though.

Does it need to be a blanket ?? Could you use one of the seat covers intended for a car

I would prefer a blanket really as it would be easier to fold up and tuck away in the motorhome, which is not that big!
I looked at picnic blankets, but the general complaints in the reviews are that the blanket side is rather thin and tore easily, so I thought maybe there was something specific for dogs. There is and they cost from £66, so I was hoping someone might know of something else suitable.

I have one of these and IMO it actually takes up less room than a blanket when folded :)
