Hi

There no search for it coming up and can't remember what was in it.  Could anyone help please.  My girls not keen on eating unless its not really suitable for a feeding mum.  She has eaten but not like i would like, she seems to like things from a syringe so thought this might be worth a try.  I'm worried she's not eating enough protein.  Pups are 4 days old now and thriving so i want to keep it that way and not let my girl lose condition.

thanks, not sure why the search isn't picking it up

Forgot she seems to want sweet things, I managed some extra meat by putting some honey round it.  She has eaten protein and the day pups were born, i didn't think I would fill her up.

You need to use the Google Site Search button at bottom of the page for older threads ;-)

That's the one, thank you.

She's eating sardines as well so hopefully this will top her up until she gets her appetite back.  First time I've had this.

Recovery recipe
"This is a great recipe for any ill dog. It's full of goodness from the chicken and veg, and it's easily eaten and digested. If your dog is a bit below par, or recovering from something more serious, this recipe is ideal and guaranteed to get him back on the road to recovery.
2 chicken drumsticks
1 carrot
1 potato
1 teasthingy parsley
1 stock cube

This one is really easy - just cover the chicken and chopped up veg with boiling water and simmer on a low
heat for thirty minutes. Then fish out the chicken, remove the bones and return the meat to the pan. Sprinkle in the
parsley and allow to cool. Best served slightly warm"

thanks for that Tommee, I'll get that made up this afternoon.

She's just gone silly for natural yogurt and had some sardines.  Hopefully, the yogurt won't upset her tum, she had about 15mls.  Daren't give her any more than that in one go.

Natural live yoghurt shouldn't upset her tummy. My dogs love it
