brie was at the vets again,she not eating,it turnout that she got uclers in the mouth from the result of kennel cough,so that why she not been eating,but when we got back she went straigth in the box to feed the puppies,they are doing well at the moment.
so she on soft food like youhart,milk .oats with honey,mince meat,well at the moment her diet is better than mine.

It sounds as if Brie's a good mum but she's just not had an easy time. Hope she picks up soon. You've had a real worrying time recently.

I have had one of my bitches develop little sores around the mouth from the cleaning up of the birrth and puppy wate. It is why I feed all my mums soaked food, and only soft stuff until the pups start being weaned, it is more comfortable for sore lips, and keeps the intake up!

I also put vaseline on the chaffed lips, to protect them.
