Hi I've read on here that you can give Butternut squash/pumpkin for loose poos, how much per puppy roughly (medium breed) and do you mix it with their puppy food?

I freeze my steamed pumpkin in ice cube trays and each 4-5Kg dog gets one cube which they eat like a treat, I have never had to give more than 2 cubes a few hours apart to firm up their stools.

Strangely it works for constipation too.
