Hello,

I have a GR and wanting to keep him in tip top condition was wondering what, if anything, people do to aid their dogs joints?

He has just been changed from his large breed food to a natural food which doesn't contain any added glucosamine etc. so should I now supplement his diet with some myself? He hasn't got arthritis or anything but obviously want to keep his joints strong and prevent anything.

What is everyone's favourite supplement?

I love Riaflex......designed by an equine specialist she also does a canine range.

Not cheap but have had great results using it on two of my older gundogs who are aged 13 and 11 and still working 5 days a week through the shooting season.

I use this for my oldies

Always make sure that you get the chondroitin 400mg with the 500gm glucosamine for the best results.  My Bearded Collies needed 3 a day.  It definitely helped.  I try to stock up when they have offers on.  Keep an eye out for their buy 1 get 1 free offers.

I use the Yumove and it really does seem to help I have put the pup on the young and active one to help support her joints during her fastest growing period. http://www.lintbells.com/
