We are going to Devon tomorrow for the week - staying just East of Plymouth in South Hams. Does anyone know of a dog friendly beach - maybe with beach huts - which would be good for a family to spend the day?

Bigbury is a lovely beach. The beach stretches out to an island with a pub (I think) and which also has a bit of walking around you can do. The tide comes in from both sides so check the tide times, but a tractor takes people back across at high tide anyway :)
There are dog restrictions but it's only over one side, so still plenty of room for the dogs.
