Suggestions needed on how to stop a puppy flying its tail in the ring when the breed standard calls for it to be merry but carried level!

Has anyone found a miracle cure?

Don't worry too much, as shows become less thrilling he will probably calm down and carry it better. It's so important to keep it fun at this stage or you will get a stodgy adult. :-)

Swap you -in Papillons our problem is always keeping the tail UP! :) Puppies often do have a too high tail in most breeds though, and it usually improves with age. I've had Malinois pups holding their tail across their back even, only for it to end up correct as adults.

Thank you both!  It's costing her places at the moment but equally I'd rather she was happy than tail between the legs
