Hi everyone,

It's an all nighter like never before.....I had one litter due last week and one next week (my 2 for the year). As 'Angel' went to 64 days, she had a visit to the vet yesterday and was told that if there are no babies this weekend then it's a C-Section on Monday. 'Bonnie' on the other hand - started whelping at 8:30 am this morning - 5 days to early. I was horrified ! By 1pm there were still no pups so off to the vet she went - x-rays showed there are 2 pups and she was administered an injections to increase contractions lo and behold, we have delivered 5 puppies and all is well at the moment - we are feeding every 4 hours to assist as 'Bonnie' hasn't enough milk yet....it is now 1:45am and 'Angel' has now started contractions - one is a week late, one is a week early and they both decide to whelp on the same day !
I am thrilled with the pups - they are lovely and doing really well considering.....we know 'Angel' has 6 as they showed on the x-ray but then again only 2 of 'Bonnies' showed....

I've got my fingers crossed for you, Donna. I am sitting here waiting for Sunny to whelp (due tomorrow), she looks like she swallowed a beach ball. Then Willow is due next monday - much, much smaller, perhaps only 1 or 2!

Thankyou.

We had 12 pups but despite a few hours of resus. we lost one this morning...it's so sad - she was a little white girl and only weighed 130 grams at birth. We have 11 now.
