Anyone heard of courtmeyln labradors? I'm just doing all my research so please peeps don't be judgmental 😝

They ask for a non-refundable £200 deposit. That would ring alarm bells for me.

Have you searched the Champdogs breeder list?

They do not show or work their dogs, they state they are simply family pets yet they are a licensed breeder and I notice in the 'links' they recommend Jan Fennell and Ceaser Milan as good reads for dog training :(

I wish I knew more about Labradors!   It does sound like you need someone to take you under their wing and guide you.

Have you looked to see if there are any shows near you? Go along as a spectator, buy a catalogue, take a pen! and tick off any dogs you like the look of.  Then see if you can get to speak to their owners before or after judging.

If they are too busy to talk, then you may have their details from the catalogue to write or phone, or can look online and send them a friendly email.

Above all, have patience :)
