Do any of you know of any self catering dog friendly cottages, not too worried about where would love it to be near a beach (dog friendly) but not essential.

We've just been to Clippesby Hall in Norfolk, which we found to be very dog-friendly. I've taken dogs to Devon and had a wonderful time seeking out the coves, which are dog friendly.

If that area interests you I googled Torquay Tourist Board.  They couldn't have been nicer, or more helpful.  I stayed at Marldon, about 3 miles form Paignton.  It's a lovely rural village for country walks, but just a short drive away from sea and sand.  :-)

Was fab! Very dog friendly property that allows up to 6 dogs to stay free of charge and crates and dog beds are even provided too! Beaches were all about a 20 minute drive away but it wasn't to bad and there are so many to explore, so you don't get bored! We had pretty much all the beaches and all the local walks to ourselves which is just how we like it.
