Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Transfer of Ownership

Hi, a lady that bought a pup from me over 3 years ago, has recently bought another from me. Now, when she bought her first boy she never bothered to transfer his ownership into her own name, she has asked me if she can still do so, after all this time, seeing that she intends to transfer ownership of her newest pup. I did say I thought it would be too late, but I am not actually sure? The older dog is neutered, so the only reason for doing so would be because she is doing for the new pup.

She can do it at any time. Just needs to fill in the back of the Reg form and sent t off.

She can do it anytime but I don't see the point - just more money in the Kennel Club's purse!

I always tell my puppy people not to bother unless it's a pup that they are going to show.  :)

Oh right ok thank you. I will tell her. But yes, I agree there is not much point and it does just give the KC more money!

She can do it easily online too.

It's only easy to do online if the paperwork has not been lost if they know both the KC number and ownership number.  If you don't have that then you blooming have to request another set of paperwork at the cost of £5.00 and then the cost of the transfer :(
