I am a great believer of making my dog use its brain and have fun when being fed so rarely do I feed out of a bowl and always try and feed out of an activity toy.

Usually this "activity toy" is a kong, dog pyramid, buster cube or even just the food scattered on the lawn on a nice day!

Does anyone have any others they like to use/do? I prefer to be able to have minimal supervision with them as usually I give them to him in my dressing room while I am getting ready so that I can keep an eye but can get on!

Thanks :)

I tie treats up in old towels and tea towels etc. With nice big knots and my boys pull them undone.  As yet they have always spent time undoing them rather than chewing a hole straight through, which is what I thought they would do.

Personally I'd never do this as it would mean feeding dry food that wasn't soaked, and there are too many dangers associated with that.

You can put soaked food into the kong :)

Sounds fun! Would be too hard to co-ordinate with my bunch though I'm afraid, I'd never keep track of how much anyone was eating!

Try the Tug-A-Jug - google it - that's a favourite here.

I raw feed and until recently there wasn't much that was suitable for raw food, however I'm going to invest in one of these;

I'm with LucyDogs here.  I weigh feed for all my dogs, and I have a lot.  I monitor the feel of my dogs to decide whether they need extra/less each day.  I need to know who is eating what, and I weigh all their food.  If I used interactive feeding, it would take six hours to feed not one hour!
